First Days of School......

Can't believe we've been through 10 days of school already! The first day was so much fun for the kids.. You get to bring a parent or grandparent with you for 2 hours on the first day and do all sorts of activities..The kids had so much fun, and as you can see so did I. I got to race in a box car down the track with the teachers and a few of the aides at our school... It was a blast.. Other than my car was pretty beat up before it was all said and done. All the men were playing demolition derby instead of racing down the track..LOL It was so much fun....

Tanner is loving 4th grade... says this is his best year yet, but he says that every year! Lol but that is a good thing:) No homework yet, he finishes it all at school.

Maci is loving 2nd grade,,, She has turned into the little jump roping queen... Has a darling class with lots of good , cute, friends!!!

And my BABY, Britton, He started kindergarten just 2 days ago:(...I cannot believe it! He seemed pretty proud to go.. He finally gets to be in the big school with Tanner and Maci... Hes been looking forward to that for a few years now... Seems to be doing really well. I hope it all goes well. The first year of school always makes me nervous with each one of my kids!!!!

BIRTHDAY BOY!

Seriously, My BABY is turning 5 tomorrow! How did this happen? Where has the past five years gone? I sure love this little boy. He is so full of life! He has us laughing all day long! When he first learned to ride his bike he was so excited , he said "Mommy watch your little boy ride his GIANT bike!

A few months ago he asked if he could take off his Cavity bugs and step on them.

One night he wanted me to sleep with him until his eyes were closed . I waited for a few minutes and got up to leave and he said" Wait mom, come back, I messed up! I need to close my eyes again. He is so darn silly! There for awhile Britt would say every night , " Me just a little boy, me need to sleep with you!"

These are just a few of the silly things my little Butterball has said. Everyday he has us in stitches and loves to suprise us with something new and "interesting."

Little Britton Johnson as cute as can be,

He is such a delight to our whole family!

When he was just six days old,

his respitory system was trying to shut down,

They said he was very sick, they called lifelight, and he was Provo Bound..

The doctors and nursed did everything they could do,

It was up to little Britton now, we all prayed he would pull through!

He stayed in ICU for eleven long days and ten nights,

With me and his daddy by his side just praying he would be alright.

It was nothing short of a miracle, little Britton recovered completely,

and as the days went on our love for him grew more deeply..

It has now been 5 whole years, and britt is a healthy and happy little boy.

He is our little buddy cup, butterball, silly goose and more...

We love you little buddy. You are our little Miracle sent from heaven above..

We will always be here for you, with lots and lots of love!

Loosing this first tooth has been a long time coming. She has been asking for months why she is the only one in her class that hasn't lost any teeth yet! LOL! "Finally", she says, I have a wiggly tooth. She worked on it for a few weeks, and it finally got loose enough for her Daddy to pull it out. She was so HAPPY! Words cannot describe!

On the last day of School , I went and spent a little time in each of my kids' classroom. I took some treats and just hung out and took some pictures of them. They were all so wound up!

Maci Bo and a few of her classmates that were definitley not shy in front of the camera. They were so cute. Maci had a wonderful first grade year! She just loved her teacher. She did wonderful with her reading and worked so hard on all of her homework. :) So proud of her!

Britton and his Bus Driver! He just loved this guy! He talked about him everyday.. Britt just finished his 2nd year of Preschool. He is doing so well, and growing up way to quick. He is my BABY and he will be starting Kindergarten next year. That is totally crazy to me. I'll probably have a nervous breakdown or something.

I would like to wish My Princess a very Happy Birthday! I can't believe shes seven. Seriously where has the time gone. She was so excited on her Birthday! Even though it was such a busy day. She had an early Birthday party with friends after school, then we went straight to Her Brothers Ball game and then off to hers, and then straight from there to her End of the year Clogging Recital! She was Exhausted ! We love you so much Sissy Bo!

Maci Bo recieved an Exciting gift from her Grandparents , Her face says it all! Grandma & Grandpa Sylvester gave her a wallet, and inside of it was 50 one dollar bills. She couldn't have been Happier. She also recieved 40 dollars from her Grandpa & Grandma Johnson.... Thats what she wanted this year M.O.N.E.Y!!!! $$$$$ She ended up with one hundred and fifty eight dollars. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa, Your the best. We love you!

It's My son Tanners Birthday today. I just want to wish him a Happy Birthday! He is such a great Boy. Where has the last nine years gone. It makes me feel old. Tanner recieved one hundred and fifty dollars from family and friends, so we decided to shower him in his money. He thought it was pretty cool. I surprised him at school today with some balloons,I think he thought it was pretty fun.

Dixie Clogging Competition for Maci Bo

On March 27th Maci Bo competed in a Clogging Competition Down in St.george. They ended up doing awesome. She had 2 group dances and one duet with her friend Alesia. They started learning there duet 3 weeks before they performed it. They were so so cute. They took first. YAY! I was so happy for them. Hard work pays off! They also took an Overall first place in one dance and a first place in there other. I enjoy watching her clog so much. They did there Duet to Shake your Groove thing from the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks! So we decided to dress them in the 8o's styles.

It's already been a few months since I have posted anything! Where does the time go????
I have celebrated my 30th Birthday, Coached a 3rd and 4th grade Basketball Team, watched my sons 3rd Grade Pioneer Program, which was just absolutely adorable, my Daughter Danced at Halftime @ a Parowan Highschool Basketball game, I went Skiing with the 5th & 6th grade classes, started working out at the new fitness center in Parowan, My p90 X classes, & Zumba, and ofcourse the every day busy life as a mommy and a wife, and ofcourse my Job that I love.
My digital camera which is only a year old, bit the dust and so I have no new pics to post at this moment in time, but I hope to soon.
I just want to say how LUCKY I am to be blessed with the Family that I have. My BEAUTIFUL Children and my LOVING, HARD WORKING, Husband..... We all have so much fun together! I love you all so much!

It was a lot of fun to have them here with us. The kiddos were so excited. Thanks Mom and Dad, it meant a lot to us.

We let the kids wake us up, which wasn't until about a quarter to eight. I'm not crazy, I'm smart. LOL. It'll be soon enough when they start waking us up at 5 a.m.....

They got some really neat gifts from Santa, and just thoroughly enjoyed their day.

Thanksgiving weekend My family, Mom & Dad, Robbie & Randi and their kids, and My nephew Trey went up Mayfield Canyon and got us some Christmas Trees. We had a great time. The women and kids had some Hot Cocoa while we waited for the men to find and cut down our Trees! I think we had the better end of the deal, don't you? Last week at school it was Red Ribbon Week.

For Crazy hair day, the kids and I decided to

paint our hair and maci and I put wires in

our braids. It was fun. The kids enjoy this

week. We had wear read day, crazy hair day,

inside out day, pajama day(that was my

favorite), and dress up as your favorite

character day. The kids wore their

Halloween costumes on this day, and I just

wore Tanners Mickey Mouse Ears. Next year

A few weeks ago we went to Salina . I took 2 of my Kids Maci & Britton with me and 2 of Robbie and Randi's kids, Kinlee & Addi with me and my friend Krista to the Pumpkin Patch in Elsinore. We had a fun time. It was a very nice day, almost too hot, but there are going to be no complaints, now that it has started snowing. We got 10 inches of snow here a few days ago. I'm just not ready for it yet. The kids picked out a few pumpkins and a few gourds.

The kids also had fun at Grandma and Grandpas house playing in the leaves. I love this time of year, it is so pretty.

We had such a wonderful time on our Family Vacation! We went down to Corona Del Mar Beach the first day we arrived. We played in the sand and the waves, and afterwards My Aunt Renae and Uncle Mike came down to the Beach and we built a fire and roasted hotdogs and Marshmallows. What a fun ,relaxing way to start off our Vacation.

Soccer has came and is almost over! One more game to go for Tanner and Maci. It's been a fun season. I got to coach Maci's Team this year. It was very interesting! The kids have had a lot of fun, in and out of a few soccer balls to the head and huge kids knocking them down! :) Grandma & Grandpa Sylvester came down to their game a few days ago. They played at the same time, on fields right next to one another. So we had to just keep looking from side to side the whole time. Grandma Johnson got to walk over and watch them play too. The kids sure love it when there Grandparents come to watch them, it just makes their day!

On July 23rd We, being My Mom, Dad, Myself, & My kids, headed down to Orange, California for My Cousin Courtney's Wedding! We stopped off at My sister Shauni's House in Las Vegas and spent the night with her and her cute family. I'm so glad we got to do that I miss her & her family, it's not all that often we have that opportunity. My oldest son Tanner stayed with them while the rest of us ventured off to California.
We arrived in California, got our motel room & went to Courtney's wedding dinner and Reception! It was so much fun seeing all of the Sylvester Family. Everyone has changed so much. It was fun to see all of my Cousins kids. My cousin Whitney and I have always been so close, and I hadn't seen her for close to 3 years, which means I had never meant her youngest , Parker, and Riley was only 4 months old when I had seen her last.
Every ones kids are adorable.
The next day we got to spend the Day at Corona Del Mar Beach with the family visiting, barbecuing, and just playing in the Sand and the Waves. It was an absolute blast. Maci & Britton had SO much fun. The Scenery was so breathtaking. I think I want to move to the Beach........ The next day we drove down to Newport Beach and took in all of the Scenery, Beach cruisers,sand, waves, water, surf boards, people, shops, palm trees, etc...... It was so neat. The weather was totally awesome as well. After we left the Beach and took a few pictures, and spent all of our money on souvenirs, we drove over to Aunt Renaes & had a Family Barbecue with the whole gang. She's got a swimming pool, which the kids had a blast in, as well as the adults. I just want to say Thanks Aunt Renae & Uncle Mike for the fun times. The wedding was beautiful, and the activities following were so much fun. It was great getting to see all of you.
On our way home we got to spend one more night with Shauni & Jason, visiting, going to U swirl to get some yogurt, and getting to love on my new little nephew Aiden. Thanks Shauni & Jason we had fun. IT was a GREAT six days of Vacation........

This was a very fun filled day for Britt. He was beaming bigger than I have ever seen him. He was so happy to get the Motorcycle bike. We started out the day unwrapping presents, then went to the swimming pool with friends, went over to Cedar City and ate Orange Chicken at Panda(Britts favorite place to eat), and ended the night walking up to the Dairy Freeze eating a White Icecream in a White cup, with a Pinecone. That is what Britton Calls Icecream cones. We lit a candle in his icecream cone and sang Happy Birthday to him and HE LOVED IT! It was so stinken cute. If only everyone could have seen it. What a happy little monkey he was. He loves to be sang too. We had a great Day. Can't believe my Baby's four ! Where did the past four years ago. I love you my little butterball. Family, Friends, Fun, Food,Fireworks! It's the 4th of July! Such a fun time to get together!

Every year I look forward to the 4th. We always go to Salina.

Before My Grandpa Sylvester passed away , we would get together with all of my dads family in Richfield, and enjoy the morning parade and festivities with them . Now that Grandpas gone, we haven't got together really until this year. We had a big Sylvester Family Reunion it was great ! We met up at Fishlake and enjoyed the day with all of them. Some of my cousins kids we had never seen before, so it was great getting to meet all of them. Mckinlee, my niece, painted the girls toenails. Aunt Cindy made 4th of July necklaces with all the girls,and we had a Bridal Shower for My Cousin Courtney. We made flower boquets out of paper, and wedding dresses out of toilet paper, and then had to put make up on the "brides" blindfolded. It turned out to be lots of fun. The kids also got to do a pinata. It was so nice to see them all. We were missing All of Renaes kids though, except for Courtney.

Then on the 4th we spent the day with my moms family, Barbecuing, hoola hoop contests,salina parade, and just visiting. It was an exhausting weekend, but lots of fun. So glad we could see the Family.

Children.....Why do they have to grow up so fast???

Lately, NOW more than ever, I have been sheding quite a few tears. My kids are growing up way to fast. I'm really struggling with this, and I'm sure there are a lot of you moms out there that are going through the same thing.
My oldest just got baptized and will be going into 3rd grade this year. My little girl just turned six and will be heading into the 1st grade. My youngest will be turning 4 in 11 days. I am done with the diapers, done with the potty training, done with all of the baby stuff, and honestly, I miss every single bit of it. I'm so happy that there growing up and healthy, I just can't believe how fast it all went by. I'm sitting here all ready for church and now I am going to have to re apply my make up because of the tears running down my face. Does this mean I want more children? I don't know, I wish I had that answer right now. I would love more, I just wish I knew whether I am done or not? How do you know? If anyone out there has the answer, I would love to here it.
Every night my youngest snuggles into me and says, as he's holding my cheeks between his sweet little hands, " I like you Mommy, your my best friend!" It just melts my heart. He's always looking up at me with those big blue eyes after he has done something wrong and I've gotten after him and saying "Mommy, I like you in a sad voice, Do you like me? Wow, if that doesn't tug at your heart strings! He's already wiping off my kisses. Why? But, I guess with all of the sad things, there are luckily so many more happy things. Britton is such a character. He's always pulling a goofy face or dancing around all goofy. He's a sweetie.
Maci Bo is very gentle and loving, she is our cuddler. She is starting to get more independent and wanting to always have a friend over or be at a friends house. She is all girl and then some. She loves making hair bows with me and putting on makeup, etc. When she was a little bit younger she was sitting on the sink in the bathroom while I was doing her hair, and I told her how beautiful her big blue eyes were, and that they matched her shirt. She told me that she hated her blue shirt, she said " Mommy do you think that if I wear pink everyday my eyes will turn pink?" She didn't want blue clothes, or blue eyes, because she thought it made her look like a boy! Cute huh? She's our little doll!
Tan the Man is my oldest. He is such a good boy. He still does and always has let me give kisses and hugs whenever I want to. He loves hugs from me every night before bed time. He has always done and said some of the cutest things I just wish I could remember all of them. When he was just two years old and maci was born, the first time he seen her open her eyes, he let out this cute little shout, and said " Mommy She's gots eyes. Isn't that adorable. He also was quite the little waver. He couldn't have been no more than 1 yr old, and we were driving to salina to visit my parents, and we drove past a diesel and honked the horn, and Tanner woke up from a dead sleep and looked out the window and waved at the diesel. He loved to wave and honk the horn, that was his thing.
Over the last 8 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed raising my children and look forward to all of the fun times ahead. I just miss their cute little bums waddling around in their cute little diapers, and the sweet innocent looks on their cute cute faces. The Ma, Ma, and Da, Da, and Mommy Are you. Wuv you, the tiny hands waving for the first time, their first steps, their first tooth, crawiling, first hair cut, first time going to school, those firsts are gone for the most part. Here I go crying again. I love my little monkeys. They are my world and I am so blessed to have them, I'm just having a hard time letting them grow up..........

My Sister took these beautiful photos of my kids. They turned out so cute, and there are many more where these came from. My Boys despise getting there pictures taken these days, it makes me kind of sad. It was like pulling teeth to get them to take a handfull of pictures.

What a beautiful day to spend with Family. We all got to be a part of 3 special occasion's that happened to 3 special little children. To start off the day, Jason & Shauni's beautiful new baby boy aiden was blessed here at our home by his Grandpa Sylvester. He looked so precious.

Later on that afternoon My Tanner and My Nephew Trey were baptized here in Parowan at our church. What a special moment for these 3 little cuties.

On May 18th the cloggers got together after
their big Lagoon Clogging Competition for their
end of the year party and awards ceremony.
Maci Bo won the award for the Most Valuable
Clogger . All of her Team mates voted for this.
It was based on who each one thought tried
the hardest, was eager to learn, was nice
to everyone, and did the best job! How sweet
is this that she won the most votes for this! She
was very proud, as she should be.
Her Teacher gave her an award for the best
showmanship on the team. She was chosen
and one other little girl, for being on the Color
Country All Stars Team for 2009! I am so proud
of my little girl. How Awesome is she!

A couple weeks ago we went to Lagoon for a Nationals Clogging Competition. This was Maci's first year clogging at a Lagoon compeition and she had a great time. They ended up taking first place in both dances and got an overall first place on their dance "marry me"! They have done such a great job this year. I have enjoyed watching them so much. Maci LOVES clogging and does very well. The weather was fantastic that weekend. WE had a great time.

Well, I had a little Accident playing in a faculty softball game against the sixth graders yesterday. I was doing good running from home to first, first to second, and second to third, then they over through the ball and I heard go go, and I took of running and all I remember is feeling like I was in slow motion as I started falling forward looking like I was going to slide on my belly into home base. Then all I remember is falling to my knees as I knocked the catcher down flat on his back, and an instant stinging pain to my knees. It was just a little embarassing, but the important thing was that I was safe. I gave it my all, and then some. We had a great time. Here is a picture of my beautiful injury.

My Princess Graduated from Kindergarten last night, Wow, it just amazes me and tugs at my heart strings at the same time. Maci Bo sang every song with all of her heart and just grinned from ear to ear the whole time. What a doll. Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester got to come down and share this special day with her and they brought cousins Ninny and Addi along too. We had a great time. What a fun filled day of school, and maci's birthday party! There were seventeen at her party including her. We had a Barbie and the Diamond castle birthday party. We decorated the front door like a castle and had tons of pink and purple balloons. Maci even got a personal phone call from Barbie herself, wishing Maci a Happy Birthday and singing her a Birthday song. All of the little girls were at maci's party when she called and they all had great big eyes and a huge smile on their faces. What a fun suprise!

The Miracle of Life; it is truly that, A Miracle.......

I have to say that I am on cloud nine. My sister invited me to come down while she had her baby boy. It worked out so well. She was enduced Early Saturday morning. So My parents and I drove down Friday night to spend the weekend with them. Doug had a long weekend off work so he was able to stay with the kids while I joined in on this experience of a lifetime. Thanks Shauni and Jason for letting me be a part of this.

Aiden Sean Yee was born on Saturday, April 19th, around 2:30 p.m, weighing in at 7 lbs 14 oz and 20 inches long. The delivery went very smoothly and Shauni and Aiden are both doing great. He is so gorgeous. Very nice complexion, cute little dimples, a tiny little nose and ears, along with his cute full lips. Yes, I am bragging! He is adorable. He is such a sweetie. I am going to go through withdrawls of not being able to see him very often. I cried when he was born, and I cried when I had to leave to come home. I'm going to miss him so much. There is nothing like a sweet baby. A feeling comes into your heart when they are placed in your arms, that you can't even explain, they are a miracle, truly a Miracle! Love you Baby Aiden!

Easter vacationing at Lake Powell, getting together with family in St.George Easter day, and Celebrating Tanners 8th Birthday! Yes, we did all that in 3 days. We had a great time. Lake Powell is Beautiful, and the kids had a blast with all their cousins. We got home around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night, and then woke up Sunday morning to see what the Easter bunny had brought and also had Tanner unwrap his Birthday presents. Then, we were off to Dixie to meet up with my parents and my brother and his family. We met up for Breakfast, and then we decided to take the kids to Fiesta Fun Family Center where we mini golfed, rode the bumper boats, and bumper cars. The kids had a blast, and that is all that matters. Afterwards we went to the park and had a picnic and later the kids hula hooped and flew their kites. We fit in quite a bit in 3 days! I think Tanner had a pretty fun Birthday. The week before his Birthday he invited 7 friends over for his Birthday party and 5 of them ended up sleeping over. It was a wild night , but the boys had so much fun.

My little boy Tanner is not so little anymore. He will be turning eight on Easter Sunday!

We are leaving for Lake Powell on Friday and then we will be coming back to celebrate Tanners Birthday and Easter in St. George With My Parents and my Brother and his family on Sunday. Sounds pretty busy, but it will be fun spending time with both Dougs and my family. We will miss Shauni, Jason & Trey, but they will be patiently waiting around at home incase my soon to be new nephew decides to come into the world. But he better wait a few days so that Aunt Tiffy will be around to see him.

Tanner has been such a joy to our family. He is the oldest child, and he takes very good care of his Brother and Sister. He is so responsible and always has been. He is the happiest little boy, and his laugh is so contagious. He is a very talented little boy. He has been begging to take gutair lessons, so we bought him a gutair for his Birthday, and he is going to start lessons in a week. I can't wait to see how he does.

Well, the girls really did take first place at the competition in Richfield. Not only did they take first in both dances, but with both dances combined they took overall in their category. Talk about exciting. I am so proud of my princess. She enjoys clogging so much.

In the meantime we have been to a new competition down in St. George this past weekend, with tons more competitors. Me, Maci, My Friend, and her little girl drove down together and spent the day. We had a great time. The Girls took FIRST Place again in both dances.

Isn't that Awesome? It is just so neat to see girls so young do so well. This is their very first year being competitors. They are so cute. They deserve a huge pat on the back as do their coaches.

Maci and her friend Alesia were the only girls on their team who were still at the events when the awards were being given out, so they got to go down in front of everyone and they each got a trophy almost bigger than them to hold. They were so proud! What some fun memories for them!

Yes I know it has been a long while since I have posted anything. I don't know how people keep up with it everyday. I feel like I am constantly running around like crazy. No time for much of anything.

We had my sisters shower at my house the first weekend in March. It turned out well and Shauni got some really cute things. My mother made and adorable rag quilt and I actually attempted my first Strip rag quilt. I think it turned out pretty cute.

We had yummy food and just had a real good time. I'd like to say thanks to Mom and Randi for helping me put it together. It was so much fun and Shauni received some darling things.

Thanks to all of you who came , we really enjoyed seeing all of you.

I'm so excited for Shauni. She deserves the happiness that she has found. This new baby will be such a fun addition to their family.

My Valentines Day Masterpiece!

Yes, I know, Valentines was a few weeks ago, I'm a little slow getting these pics out.

Maci was on the Valentines Day Party Committee for her Kindergarten class this year. We decided to make Cupcakes and I wanted to do something a little more "fun" and "creative" than just a regular old cupcake. I used rieces pieces peanut butter cups, tootsie rolls, and red hots to create a choo choo train and then use red icing gel to make the track on the cupcake. I got this idea out of Family Fun Magazine. For those of you that have never looked in the magazine, or on the website, I strongly recommend that you do. I think they turned out adorable, but I always wait till the last minute and then I get crazy stressed out. But all in all I felt pretty good about them and I enjoy spending time on projects for my kids. (Even in and out of all the stress)

When I walked in the Kindergarten room with them, all of the kids started squealing and oooohing, and ahhhhhing. They thought they were pretty neat. It was worth the extra time just to see the faces of those cute kids.

I don't know why it seems so weird to me to be 29, other than I'm only one year away from thirty. I remember being a teenager and thinking how old thirty sounded. Now here I am, one year away from turning the Big "30"!

The day before my Birthday, my friends took me out to dinner and had a Birthday Cake brought to our table with 29 big candles in it, I thought for sure the cake was going to start on fire; and then they all sang happy birthday to me. Afterwards we went to Maurices shopping, and we tried on clothes for about an hour. We had a great time. I have some great friends. Thanks everyone for the fun Birthday outing.

On Saturday, My actual Birthday, My Mom and Dad came down and spent the day with us. We hung out for awhile, and then they took us out to dinner. We had a great time hanging out with them. Thanks mom and dad for a fun filled day. Thank you for the nice presents, you guys are the best. Love ya!

Parowans Birthday Celebration~

Every Year on January 13th, the entire town gets together and celebrates Parowans Birthday. It'a a big deal for parowan. Everybody comes out and watches the entire elementary and Highschool sing songs and dance. The kids are encouraged to dress up in western wear or Pioneer clothing. Kindergarten through 12th grade kids individually perform a western/pioneer type of dance starting with the kindergarteners with Eliza Jane, up to the seniors and the Swing. It can get pretty wild with the girls being tossed around in the air by the Senior boys and all. It really is pretty cute. This was Maci's first year and Tanners second year with him doing the Hokey Pokey. They perform it in The Highschool Gym . At the end they do a grand march and the two outstanding citizens of Parowan along with the Mayor and his wife and so on. Before you know it they and all of the kids in both schools are holding hands and parading around to music. It sounds a little cheesy, but it really is kinda neat.

Wow, another Christmas has come and gone in the blink of an eye it seems. Kids are wonderful aren't they. Beautiful with eyes full of wonder and excitement.

We got a wake up call christmas morning from my niece McKinlee at 7:00 a.m., honestly we may have slept till 8:00 if we wouldn't have got that call, so thanks ninny, who sleeps in on Christmas morning? We all had a wonderful christmas! The kids were so excited and so appreciative of their gifts. Really, I could not ask for better children. They are so thoughtful and kind. They are my greatest gift.

Britton just wanted to keep unwrapping, once he got the paper off he just handed the box to us. He was excited once he realized what was in the box.

Maci was so excited , just tearing the wrapping paper off as fast as she could. After everything she opened, she just could not say thank you enough times. She said "Mommy I love it" , "We are so lucky", Thank you so much, over and over again. She was in the best mood ever and just absolutely loved Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was so much fun.

Tanner's expression on his face said it all. He didn't say much, but you could read it all over his face. He was suprised by his Rock Band 2 drumset. He loved it. He too, was very grateful for his presents. Cute, Cute, little kiddies.

Oh, and I did get that New Digital Camera that I asked for, that was very exciting.

Christmas Eve.....

We had our annual Christmas Eve Party over in Paragonah at Dougs Uncles House. We had a wonderful Dinner, visited, sang a few songs and went home to get to sleep so that Santa could come! The kids were so excited. It's so wonderful having kids, it keeps the magic of christmas alive. When we arrived home that night we let the kids unwrap one present,which is their pajamas. This is a christmas eve tradition of ours. My mom did it , and now I have carried it on with my own kids. They get just as excited as I remember getting on christmas eve. Maci Bo got Hannah Montana pj's, and Tanner and Britton got Transformer pj's. I took a cute picture of maci unwrapping her jammies too, but my camera has seen better days and it didn't turn out. Unfortunaely a lot of my pics are somewhat blurry. I did ask for a new camera for Christmas!!!

Right before the kids went to bed, they took some reindeer food that maci got from her teacher and sprinkled it on the lawn. It was snowing and the kids were outside in their pj's with boots on. They had a blast. And guess what? We woke up to reindeer footprints out on the grass and they came right up to our porch. The kids were so amazed.

What some cuties.............

The Elementary's Annual Christmas Program was held last night. They had two programs, one in the morning and one in the evening. I was lucky and got to go and see it twice.Thats the perks of working their I guess. The theme for this year was Christmas is a Season of Joy. It was grades Kindergarten through 6th grade, 385 students crammed on one stage. It was so darling. The K-2nd grade sang together and so on. Then the whole school sang together at the end of the program. One of the Teachers came up to me after the program and said "Wow I can't believe the rythmn your kids have. It's true though, from the time Tanner could sit up he was bouncing right to the rythmn of every song. Maci has followed in his footsteps too. They all love to sing and dance. They did such a wonderful job last night, I just wish I could have seen little Tanner better. He was on the very back row and he is a shorter kid, so he just had to keep peeking out around the kids in front of him. Maci was front and center and she boogied her little heart out. Just like the principal said" This is what starts off Christmas in Parowan" There is not a better way to get us in the Christmas Spirit.

We had such a great time at our Malmgren Family Christmas Party last weekend! It was so fun getting together with the family and starting off the Christmas Season. We had a nice dinner, opened presents, went on a Hayride to a Nativity seen where we listened to songs and stories, followed by some hot chocolate, and when we got back to the town hall in mayfield where we held the dinner and activites, Santa Clause made a Suprise visit. The kids were so excited. It was so good to see everyone and visit for awhile. Thanks mom for making the party come together, you did an awesome job.

Well, The job is accomplished! It's always been a tradition to get our trees up and decorated on Thanksgiving weekend. I bought a beautiful new Tree last year , and it was so exciting to pull it out and get it up this year knowing that it was all paid for and that I will have it for years to come. This is my tree, and we went and got the kids a real tree yesterday for them to decorate all by themselves. They absolutely love it. My mom makes them an ornament every year with their name and the year it was made for them to hang on their tree. They are always so darn cute. This is a tradition my kids look forward to every year. I think they did a really good job.

Clogging

Maci Bo Performed at the Talon Craft Fair at canyon View Highschool in Cedar City on Friday night. It was decorated so darling for christmas. She performed a dance with preschool aged kids on up to 2nd graders for the 1st number. The second dance was just her class which consists of Kindergarteners , 1st, and second graders. This was the first time they have performed this dance and it was just absolutley adorable. Their outfits were just to cute for words. Maci did a really great job. My parents came down to watch her dance. They are so good to make sure they make it to as many performances and/or games that all of their grandkids have. The kids' faces just light up when grandma and grandpa come around. So thanks mom and dad for always being their for all of us and just being the best parents and grandparents anyone could ever ask for.

Maci also got to perform her clogging number. It is so fun to watch. The kids just look like they are having so much fun doing it. Way to go little Maci Bo, You did a great job, and you are so beautiful! Love, Mommy and Daddy

It turns out my oldest son Tanner had my USB cord in one of his drawers. He thought it belonged to his Nintendo DS. I never would of thought to look in their. My husband found it. I have so many pics to post and I should probably just post the newest ones, but I have to put some of the Halloween ones on here. We all got to go to Salina this year and we had a lot of fun. All seven of my mom and dads grandkids were their for the first time ever and the kids had a great time.

I wish I could remember everything the kids say. If I was smart I would write it down right when they say it, but who has time for that.
My kids are growing up to fast, and now that I don't have a "baby", it seems even harder watching them grow up. My baby is 3. Britton goes to school 2 times a week , and maci and tanner are gone all day to school. They are all doing so well. Tanner brings home 100 % scores on all of his math, spelling, & vocab tests almost every week. There has only been a couple of exceptions. He is everyones friend and all around just a great kid. He brings me to tears all of the time, tears of joy that is. He is considerate of everyones feelings and he still has to have a hug from me every night before bed, or else he cannot go to sleep. He is for sure momma's boy. He is so smart,(Where did that come from, I don't know).
Maci Bo has climbed up the ladder in school. She has learned so much in so little time and I am so proud of her. She loves school, as far as I know! She is taking dancing lessons on Tuesday, and Clogging on Wednesday. She is doing very well in both. This is her 3rd year of dance and her 1st year of clogging. She likes to be attached to my hip, and she has a little beanie baby dog that she cannot put down. It's actually a habit I wish she would break. If we leave the house with out it, it turns into a Major, and I mean Major meltdown. So, we dont leave the house without it.! Trust me, it's UGLY! Maci Bo is a sweetie, with an attitude. What girl doesn't have one, some are just worse than others. I love my little girl and all that comes with her.
Britton is also doing well in school. He is talking so much better. He is Counting, coloring, saying all of our names , including his and a lot others. He basically repeats everything we say. My favorite word he says is Fish, he says it with a W in front of it, it sounds like Wa....hish. He is trying so hard with the whole speech thing, I am so proud of my baby. He loves his friends and his family . He loves cuddling with me and his daddy, preferably at night, when he should be in his own room, and he loves to play with my hair and he always has. He loves to argue with people too. He is so famous for saying " No it's not, No I don't, uh huhh, ! Sure, right now it's cute, but what about when he gets older, hopefully he will grow out of it, but right now , for some silly reason I think it 's cute. I am going to try and be better about writing stuff now. Kids do say the darndest things. I Love my kids, they are my world.

I can't believe it has been this long since I have posted any pictures. I have so many adorable fun photos and I can't even post them. I have no idea where my usb cord is, (still!) I guess I'll just have to buy a new one!
On a different note, We had a lot of fun on Halloween. We took advantage of the weekend and went to Salina. My kids and all of their cousins got to go trick or treating all together for the first time ever. They had a lot of fun, but oh, were they more wild than ever when we returned home from it all.
Tanner was A Ninja, Maci Bo was Hannah Montana,(My Brother thought she was trying to be me as a little girl), and Britton was A Ninja Turtle. They all looked so cute. (I'll show you someday). Maci wore her costume all day , at school and until 9:00 that night. They only let the kindergarten kids dress up for school here. Its kind of a bummer to the rest of the kids, but rules are rules.

Well, I have lost my USB cord to my camera so I have not been able to download any of my new photos.
Maci Clogged the other day at the October Fest here in Parowan and I got some darling pics. This was her first clogging performance. She was so darn cute. I also got some cute pics of the kids carving pumpkins. So hopefully I will soon find my cord and I can show you some of the things we have been doing over the last few weeks.

Today Britt and his preschool buddies went to the Paragonah Pumpkin Patch. There is a huge field of Pumpkins and anyone can go their and pick how ever many you want. The little kids get to pay a dollar for how ever big of a pumpkin they can carry themselves. For the little ones thats not very big, but they still have so much fun and they are so proud to pack it all by themselves. Britton was so cute picking his pumpkin. He was actually quite picky. He kept saying eewww, Gross, when he would stumble upon one that was partly smashed or green.

Last Monday Maci Bo & her friend Alesia started a Cheer Clinic. They practiced for one week and at the end of the week they performed at the Highschool football game halftime performance last friday. They looked so cute and had a lot of fun. They got a T-shirt and Pom Poms out of the deal, and hey, that was the best part for them. Parowan ended up playing North Sevier this game, and boy was it ever a good game. North Sevier barely one it when they went into over time. It was so close and both teams

played really well.

On Sunday, we were very lucky to have my two nieces and one of my nephews come and stay with us for the day. We definitley made the most out of the 7 hours we had with them. Mckinlee had a recipe for some play dough, which was very easy and not time consuming at all. Which She found in my moms book of recipes. They had brought some of their own, and so we made 3 batches here for my 3 kids. They had a blast playing with it. They made cookies, a cereal bowl and spoon, with cereal in it, their names, etc. It was something fun to do for a change.

Doug also took the girls and Britton on a motorcycle ride. Yes, Doug just bought a motorcycle. Theres a few mixed emotions. I really wanted one, but it's a little to close to christmas. I do have to say, I love riding on it though.

We sure enjoyed having the kids for the day. Thanks for coming down. Love you guys!

Maci's Last Soccer Game.......

Maci had her last Soccer game Wednesday night! This was her first year of soccer and she did so well. She was very aggressive most of the time and you could tell she just thouroughly enjoyed playing. After her game I told her this was her last and she gave me a dirty look and said"My last game, No I don't want it to be my last. "Will I ever get to play again?" I told her she would next year, and she said That's to far away mom! Anyways, she has other things to keep her occupied like school, dance & clogging this year so , she should be just fine!

What does a Mother Do?

Well, Talk about Heart ache. My youngest, Britton Started Preschool this Tuesday, the 17th. He goes twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and he is gone from 8:30 until 12:00. He is picked up by a lady here in town, in a school district car, and driven their twice a week. So, back to the whole heartache thing. Britton is barely 3, he is my baby, the only reason he is going to Enoch isbecause he has qualified for help with his speech, and the first day of sending him off to his new prechool, he was so sad, which in turn made me and his daddy sad. We put him in the car and buckled him up, and he frowned the whole time, and then I gave him a kiss and a hug and said, goodbye little buddy, and he started bawling and reaching for me and his daddy. Now that was heart wrenching! It's one thing to send your kid up the street to school, but quite another to putyour baby in a car with someone they don't know, and send them 25 miles away, on the freeway,saying goodbye, while they are wondering if they will ever see you again, and I'm sure he was thinking why are they doing this to me. If you could have just seen the look on his cute little face. I couldn't take it so I just ran in the house and bawled for a minute, until We got the phone call that he stopped crying once they got to the freeway. I know that Our kids have to grow up, but why does it have to happen so fast? I have to say that I have never experienced more joy than the day I became a mother to my 3 beautiful children. They are so beautiful and full of life. When they hurt, I hurt, when they cry, I cry, and when they smile,I smile. Being a mother isn't easy, but it's also one of the greatest rewards on this earth, and I am so fortunate to be a mother to these children of mine. I also have to say that I love my husband so very much and he is a wonderful Daddy to our kids. I need to take my own advice to people," Be grateful for what you do have, instead of focusing on what you don't have"

He was so sad on his very first day, but today, on his second day, he was a lot happier. There was no crying, which made the day go a lot better for us all! He still didn't want to cooperate for pictures though.

We went to Salina for the weekend, and I've always
wanted my mom to teach me how to make salsa.
And Guess what? Her tomatoes in her garden
were ready. So, we decided to make a few batches.
I can't believe what an all day project it was, but
it was fun to learn how to make it, and the best
part of it all was hanging out with my mom, and
having her be the one to teach me how to make it.
So, now that I have tried my hand at canning, I
might get the bug and decide to can something
at home all by myself. It took me eight years of
marriage, and 3 kids later, to finally give this a shot.
Yummm.........It turned out pretty good if I say so
myself! Thanks mom! It's moments like these that
we'll always remember!

My little girl started Kindergarten................

Another milestone..... It seems like just yesterday
she was born and here she is 5 years old and starting
into her school years.
Yes, hard to believe. Maci Bo started Kindergarten
today! She was so excited, she could hardly get to
sleep last night. Her Daddy had to take her to school
today because I was at work, and he did such a wonderful
job getting her dressed, out the door, and he took all of these
beautiful pics of her. He is an awesome daddy. I just had to do her
hair and set out her clothes and doug was good to go with the rest.
She was so good to stay their without a fuss. I got to
go in a give her a big hug and wish her luck. I guess thats the beauty
of working at the school.
When I went to pick her up, she ran to me and gave me a great big
hug and said "Mommy can I do it again?" She loved it!

SOCCER SEASON IS HERE!

Well, another year of soccer began about a month
ago. This is Tanner's 3rd year , and Maci Bo's first
year. The kids have had a lot of fun. Tanner has been
much more aggresssive this year. He is doing awesome.
Tanners was the goalie in his game on Saturday. They all
take turns rotating through different positions.
Maci Bo is just learning, but also doing very well and
having a lot of fun. Maci Bo's Team name is the Pink
Tigers, and Tanners is the Green Tigers. What a
coinsedence? The most important thing is they are
having fun!

First School Days......

Well, another School year has started. Where did the Summer go? I'm sure everyone is asking that same question! We started school on the 14th of this month, so just a couple of days ago! That means I started back to work and Tanner started second grade. So far, everything is going pretty good. Tanner is loving his second grade teacher and adapting really well to the new year. Hopefully it keeps on going well. As far as my job goes , this is my 3rd year and the job just keeps on getting better as the years go on. I love my job, and I love the kids at the school. Honestly, their is no better job to have.

Maci Bo will start kindergarten in 1 week from today! I can't believe it. Two of my kids will be in Elementary school which just blows me away. We had a first day Celebration at school, where the kids got to bring their parents and we had an assembly and the kids got to make crafts. Then afterwards we went out to the football field where the kids sang a song and the teachers did a line dance while all of the parents watched. It was pretty funny, and then afterwards we had refreshments. It was really fun for the kids and a good oppurtunity for the parents to spend time with their kids at school.

We spent a lot of our time going on boat rides and finding new areas to play in and swim in. The older boys, meaning Doug and his Brothers and one brother in law found some really high cliffs to jump off of. They may not look so high in the pictures, but believe me, in person, they were plenty high. I was very content to just set in the boat, or swim around for a bit. No cliff jumping for me. We had a wonderful time at Lake Powell. Can't wait to do it again next year!

We took a long boat ride on Saturday and went and

found a nice clean vacant area for the kids to swim

and play on the beach. It was beautiful. The boys loved

climbing up the big rocks, and chasing lizards.

We had such a great time at Lake Powell . Every year we take a summer trip with all of Dougs Brothers and Sisters and their Families, along with his parents. We take the house boat out on the lake and park it and camp for about 4 days. This year we went over into the Gunsight area and found a beach. The kids had so much fun swimming, jumping off the top of the house boat,(yes it scared me to death), jumping off rocks into the water, chasing lizards, and just playing with cousins. It was around 100 degrees the whole time we were their, so needless to say we spent a lot of time cooling off in the water. Britton was kind of afraid of the water, which in my eyes that was a good thing. He kept his life jacket on the whole time we were their. Maci Bo was very willing to pose for a picture ofcourse, in and out of her busy playing schedule. Tanner hardly ever made a peep. He had a blast playing with all of his cousins.

Britton was trying to blow out some fire that had started on the side of the fire pit.
We had our annual Johnson Family reunion this weekend up to Panguitch Lake. We only made it for the one day this year, but we still had a great time. The kids were entertained all day long. They picked up pinecones most of the day and went on little walks around the campground. Unfortunatley the camp fire was a little to interesting for them. That is where they wanted to hang out most of the time. Britton was trying his hardest to blow it out. ( I know, kindof scary) They made noodles on the camp fire with pince cones and pine needles. Kids and their imaginations, gotta love it!

Swim lessons

My kids just finished swim lessons on Saturday. They absoulutely love to swim. Tanner completed the level 3 advanced beginner class and has mastered several skills like bobbing in deep water, kneeling dives, compact dives, front glides, back glides, front and back crawls,elementary back stroke, treading water among a few others. He is doing awesome. He has such great form while he is swimming and diving. I am very proud of him.

Maci Bo is also doing very well. She'll need a few more years to catch up to Tan, but she loves the water and loves putting her face in while she swims as you can see. She has come along way. We didn't actually put Britton in this year, but he came with every morning and got in the water and loved every minute of it. It's his turn as well next year.

at my sisters house. Jason took Tanner and Trey

to the NBA summer league games. They got

While we were in Salina we had a Family Birthday Party for Britton, it was a lot of fun. He was so cute and so excited about everything. I'd like to thank my family for all of the love and support that they always show for us. I really do have the greatest family in the world. They would do anything for us.
Yesterday was Brittons real Birthday, and we celebrated by opening presents with Doug, me, and all of the kids. Then later on me, my kids and 4 of my friends and their kids went to see Kung Fu Panda and out for Ice cream after that. So it was us 5 adults, and 11 kids. It was so much fun, the kids were awesome during the movie. We had a great time.
Next Saturday we are going to have another Birthday Party here in Parowan with all of dougs family. We rented the swimming pool for 2 hours, so it should be a lot of fun. What a lucky kid, 3 Birthday Parties!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRITTON!

I can't believe it! My Baby turned 3 today! Wow how time fly's. Britton is such an adventurous little boy. He is so full of life and always on the move. He absolutely loves dinosaurs, animals, and anything to do with bugs. He is such a little ham. Always doing dances for everyone, pulling silly faces, along with a lot of gibber jabber, he is definitely our entertainer! Britton started out his little life pretty rough, but he made it through, and he is stronger than ever now. He keeps us on our toes, that's for sure! He is very lovable( when he wants to be), we love him so very much. We are going to take him to see Kung Fu Panda today with a bunch of our friends and out for ice cream later. Happy Birthday to our sweet baby boy! We Love you Britton!

We were able to capture some of the cutest moments on the 4th of july and throughout the weekend. I so enjoyed spending time with all of my family. Britton was giving Trey and Tanner kisses and Maci Bo was striking a pose every chance she got . Together as a family we rented a huge inflatable slip n slide and the kids had a blast on it, not to mention it kept them all real cool .The kids had so much fun together, as did us adults , and from year to year we will always keep these memories with us ...... I'm so lucky to have the Family that I do!

The 4th of July, a day to look forward to every year! I probably get more excited than the kids. It is so much fun spending time with family, watching fireworks, barbecueing, seeing old friends, watching the parade, and the list seems to go on and on......

The kids had so much fun, and nothing makes me happier than to see the smiles on their darling little faces! Britton loved the fireworks, it was ooohhh, aaaahhh, every time one went off . He was so excited about it all that day!

Summer Fun with Cousins

The kids have had a lot of fun over the past few weeks with their cousins. My Brothers kids Mckinlee and Braxon got to come and stay with us for four days. We kept them all pretty busy swimming, doing the slip and slide , watching the fireworks at the summer games opening, and just hanging out and having fun. They were so good and so fun to have around. Then two days after they went back home, Tanner and Maci Bo went and stayed with them for four days, in Mayfield.

My Sisters little boy Trey came home with my mom and dad on their way home from New York City, and he also got to go and spend time with them. I went and stayed a few days with my mom and dad and the kids and then we came home and brought Trey home to stay with us for 3 days. And yes it just keeps going on, My sister took Tanner home with her for 8 days and that is where he is right now until they come back down here on their way to Salina for the 4th of July, for four more days. I really miss my little man. But, I think it is so good for all the kids to be able to spend time together. I really enjoyed having my niece and nephews around, I just wish I could see them more. Trey got a little surprise while he was here though, from his uncle Doug. Doug decided to shave Treys hair off. Now for those of you who know Trey, He doesn't usually "do" short hair, he did say it was ok to cut it, but, I think he thought it was just going to be a little Trim. Not only that, but, his mother had just put blonde highlights in his hair a week and a half before this, and their was no permission granted by her to shave his hair off, but for those of you who know doug," anything goes" needless to say, after Trey seen it , he was a little shocked as to how short it was. He didn't think it was going to be that short. ( Sorry Shauni and Jason !)So Doug was in Trouble for a few days. It really does look good on him though, and now he matches Tanner and Britton! I really enjoyed having Trey here as well, he was such a good boy. I'll take my nieces and nephews anytime I can get them.

Our 8th Anniversary

Yesterday was our Anniversary. Can't believe it was year number 8 for us. I have to say I was pretty surprised . Doug ended up getting me these beautiful flowers, and taking the whole day off of work to be with me. We went out and had a nice dinner and did a little shopping to end the night. I was more excited about him taking the day off than anything. That is the best present he could have given me. We had a great time!

A couple of weeks ago Maci Bo graduated from PreSchool. She was pretty proud on this day as you can probably tell. She says now I am a Big girl and I get to go to the same school as Tanner and You Momma. I can't believe two of my babies will be in Elementary school.

Grandpa & Grandma Sylvester came down to Parowan from Salina just to watch Maci Bo's Program. And just a week before that, they were down for a game of Tanners .I just have to brag about them, because they make time for everyone of their kids and grandkids. They said to me very recently, "Family is Our life." I believe that is the way everyone should feel. If there was an award for the Best Parent & GrandParent, it would go out to My Parents. Thanks Mom and Dad, for all you do! Love, Ya Tons Tiff

I just really had to share this cute little moment with Maci Bo!

The other day she came up to me and whispered in my ear ,

"Mommy, do you think if we didn't tell daddy and we prayed to

Heavenly Father and asked him for a baby sister he would give

us one?" Seriously how cute is that? That isn't the first time she's

talked about having a baby sister. She has talked about it for

months. She wants a baby sister more than anything! She would

be the best big sister. She has lots of things she could teach her.

This day was absolutely gorgeous! It was definitley a fairy tale wedding. I am so happy for my Sister and Jason! Our little flower girls were so excited and looked just like little princesses'. It was so fun being Shauni's Maid of Honor. Everything from the decorations, to the dinner, to the bride and the groom was just amazing.
